Account & identity
- Full name
- Phone number (used as login identifier)
- National ID number / government ID number
- Governorate and address
- Password and related sign-in information
Banking & payout details
- Bank name
- Bank account number
- Bank account holder name
We do not store sensitive bank card payment details within this application.
Driver & distributor profile data
- Vehicle details (type, color) and average passengers
- Distributor company name and store address (for distributor accounts)
- Optional profile metadata (if used)
KYC / verification files (uploads)
- National ID photo
- “Person with ID” photo
- File metadata (name, type, size, review status and timestamps)
Financial activity (cards & wallet)
- Wallet balance and wallet type
Device, session, and security data
- Session and connection information used to operate the service and protect accounts
- App device type and device name (stored on your user profile)
- Security alerts for fraud or abuse detection where applicable
- Camera permission (for stores): we request camera access to open the camera in-app to scan/read codes (e.g., QR/Barcode) needed for validation and crediting operations.
How we use data
We use your information to operate the app, verify identity, enable card crediting and ledger posting, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
- Account creation & authentication: Register and sign you in using your phone number and password, and protect your session.
- Identity verification (KYC): review uploaded identity images and track their review status.
- Wallet & ledger operations: calculate balances, record ledger entries, and provide transaction history.
- Card validation & crediting: validate scanned card codes and, when eligible, credit amounts to your wallet and record the corresponding ledger journals.
- Customer support: investigate issues and respond to requests.
Security
We apply appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect your information and reduce risk, in line with our approved practices.

Data retention
We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this policy, unless longer retention is required for legal, accounting, audit, or dispute resolution.
Account data
Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deactivation to complete support, compliance, and security reviews.
Identity/KYC files
Retained until verification is complete, and thereafter as required for fraud prevention and regulatory obligations. Superseded files may be retained for audit trails.
Financial records
Wallet and card-related transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years (or longer if required) for accounting, audits, and dispute resolution.
Security logs
Session-related records and relevant security logs are typically retained for up to 12 months unless needed to investigate incidents.
Data retention and deletion (high visibility)
You can request account deletion and deletion of associated personal data at any time. We will verify your identity and process the request, subject to lawful retention obligations (e.g., financial records).
How to request deletion
- Email us at contact@samertech.com from the address you want us to contact (or include your preferred reply address).
- Include your registered phone number and full name.
- State whether you want full account deletion or deletion of specific data (e.g., identity files).
- We may ask for additional verification (for example, a one-time code) before fulfilling the request.
What happens next
- We will confirm receipt and provide an estimated timeline.
- We will delete or anonymize data that is not required to be retained for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
- Some records (e.g., ledger journals/entries and card consumption records) may be retained where legally required, but will be restricted and used only for compliance and dispute resolution.
Your rights
- Access: request a copy of your personal data.
- Correction: update inaccurate or incomplete information (e.g., phone/bank details via your profile, where available).
- Deletion: request deletion as described above.
- Objection / restriction: you may object to or request restriction of certain processing where applicable.

Children
Bitaqati - بطاقتي is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
